About Me

A native Californian, I graduated from Stanford University with an A.B., with distinction, in Human Biology. I received my medical degree from the University of California at San Diego, School of Medicine and completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. I joined the Permanente Medical group in 1998.

The variety of patients and medical conditions that are seen in the ER attracted me to the specialty of emergency medicine and continues to challenge and interest me. Practicing emergency medicine at Kaiser Permanente has enabled me to provide patients with the personalized, quality medical care that I feel they deserve.

When I’m not in the emergency department, you may find me surfing in Santa Cruz, snowboarding in Tahoe, or traveling in a foreign land.
