Background

I grew up in Southern California. I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of San Francisco. I then completed my residency training in pharmacy practice at the University of Southern California and Greater Los Angeles Veterans Administration Hospital.

I strongly believe that good health is the foundation for happiness and success. My goal is to partner with my patients to achieve health goals that have been proven to save lives. I believe my role is to provide patients with a thorough understanding of all treatment options available, but I respect the individual choices patients make in their health decisions. My professional area of interest is diabetes and the prevention of stroke and heart attack, through controlling risk factors such as high cholesterol and blood pressure. Diet, exercise and mental health are crucial to minimizing the use of medications and still achieving health goals.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, biking, and traveling.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
