I would first like to introduce myself and welcome you to the Department of Rehab Services. I am proud to be a member of the team at Kaiser Santa Clara.

I grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to California in 1994 to pursue an Olympic dream in synchronized swimming with the Santa Clara Aquamaids. I was soon spoiled by the West Coast weather and stayed to attend Santa Clara University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences in 2001. When I wasn’t in the pool, I spent most of my time traveling as an athletic trainer for the Men’s Soccer and Basketball teams at SCU. It was then that I realized how important health and fitness had become in my life and that sharing my knowledge with the community would be my career path.

In 2005, I received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After graduating, I worked in community practice and then joined the Kaiser staff in the outpatient physical therapy department in 2007. To enhance my professional development, I have taken several continuing education courses in Orthopedics and am a member of the Orthopedics section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy many outdoor activities including mountain and road cycling, snowboarding, and camping. During the weekends, I spend as much time as I can with my family and friends.

Your health and fitness are important to me. I look forward to meeting and working with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at (408) 851-1475 so that I may answer and address your questions and concerns regarding physical therapy.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
