My Biography

Kaiser Permanente San Francisco is a very advanced facility. I find the technology and care delivery to be extremely up-to-date here. I enjoy the camaraderie of my associates; we have a collegial atmosphere here. My colleagues are accessible and available for consultation, and I am able to consult with any specialist about advice.

I was drawn to Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because I had a desire to work with outstanding clinicians and staff who shared the goal of providing the highest quality health care. The Kaiser Permanente model of care is particularly advantageous for patients. For example, patient medical records are accessible to the entire northern California group. The interconnectedness of our system is excellent, and there is no need to go outside the system for specialty referrals. My special interest area is in body imaging of the pelvis, an area in which I completed my fellowship.

I love to travel, and among other places, I have been to the Netherlands, Belgium, England, and China, where I have family. To stay healthy, I drink tea green each morning and attempt to keep a positive outlook on situations and people.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
