About Me

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 1989. I am a long standing member of the Society of Interventional Radiology. Initially, I was the sole interventional radiologist at the former Martinez hospital, but now I am a member of a four member team based here at the Walnut Creek hospital. My area of specialty is interventional radiology and image guided percutaneous biopsy.

Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to grow in my role as a radiologist. I have been here long enough to see us acquire the technology to help our patients do better. The ability to work with the newest technology and yet maintain a personal level of care is what makes Kaiser Permanente so enjoyable. My family and my parents are Kaiser Permanente members. My wife was born in a Kaiser Permanente hospital as were my children. I have seen Kaiser Permanente from the perspective of a patient and a provider. I would not want to be with anyone else.

My Credentials

Medical school UC Los Angeles, School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA
Internship Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Sepulveda, CA
Residency UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine, CA
Fellowship St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach, CA
Board certification Diagnostic Radiology, American Board of Radiology

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
