My Biography

The opportunity to work with a large staff of excellent physical therapists attracted me to Kaiser Permanente of San Francisco. Our department is staffed with therapists from a wide diversity of professional, ethnic, and academic backgrounds, which creates a great environment in which to work. Another draw for me was Kaiser’s Health Education and Wellness programs, which are extensive and available to both Kaiser members and non-members.

I enjoy listening, teaching, and working with my patients to optimize their function in everything they do. I believe there is nothing more valuable than your health. Because of this, I am committed to providing the best service that I can with you, the patient, as my teammate in the process of restoring and creating optimal function. I use a multifaceted approach to assessment and treatment including hands-on manual therapy, patient education, therapeutic exercises, ergonomics, wellness advice, and preventative measures. I hold special interests in orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, sports medicine, biomechanics, and in preventative medicine.

When I am away from the office, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee, basketball, tennis, hiking, cycling, and kayaking. I truly enjoy my work and I have a support network of family and friends that make me smile everyday!
