My Profession and Why I Chose It

Hello. Thank you for visiting my website. I’m a pediatrician at the Point West facility of Kaiser Permanente. I became a pediatrician because of my love for children. There’s nothing more precious than putting a smile on a child’s face and making a positive difference in his/her life. I also enjoy watching children grow and develop into young and healthy adults. My goal is to take care of your children as I would my own. I strive to share my knowledge and experience not only as a pediatrician but as a mother as well.

My Credentials

Medical school University of Rochester, School of Medicine & Dentistry, Rochester, NY
Internship Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA
Residency Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I’ve been practicing at Kaiser Permanente since July, 2000. There are several reasons I enjoy working at Kaiser. First, I have the privilege of practicing medicine with only the patient’s best interest in mind. I am not restricted by insurance companies telling me what I can or cannot do. Second, the atmosphere at Kaiser is not only professional but very friendly. Third, I work with an incredible team of specialists who provide not only personal but cutting edge specialized care.

My Professional Interests and Affiliations

  • Member American Academy of Pediatrics

My Personal History

When I'm not taking care of your children, I'm busy chasing after my two boys, Dylan and Parker. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, knitting, listening to classical music, playing the cello, and traveling.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
