NP Silva-Tamura received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She went on to San Jose State University where she received her nurse practitioner degree and her masters degree in nursing. Her medical interests include Emergency Medicine & Neonatology.

NP Silva-Tamura is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and speaks fluent Tagalog. When she isn’t at work she enjoys gourmet cooking, going to the gym, watching action movies & volunteering as a Children’s Ministry Coordinator.
