About Me

I choose to work at Kaiser because with over 30 years as a rehabilitation nurse in a variety of settings I have come to realize that Kaiser provides the among of best care available to individuals with disabilities.

As a pediatric nurse I find satisfaction in supporting families of differently-abled children and fostering their resilience as they navigate through challenging and joyful milestones of their child's individual development. It is a privledge to work with my patients and their families; to guide them and to anticipate their needs as they grow.

I am a fan of wheelchair sports programs offered through borp.org and of service dogs for people with disablities through cci.org. I look forward to working with you in the clinic.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
