Hello. Thank you for your interest in my home page. I have been a physical therapist here at Kaiser Permanente in South Sacramento since 1999. I primarily work in outpatient orthopedics, treating spine and extremity pain and injury. I definitely advocate exercise, and if you’re going to see me, then I’ll be happy to incorporate a good exercise program for your specific problem.

I am from the East Coast originally, but have lived here for over 20 years. I spent 8 years in the Air Force after I graduated high school, where I was a “physical therapy technician”. I then worked as a physical therapy assistant for a private practice for a few years before I went back to school and became a physical therapist.

I did my undergraduate work at Sacramento State, earning a Bachelor's in Science in Physical Education. I then attended graduate school at The University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, where I graduated in 1997.

I am an avid cyclist and runner, primarily road cycling, which I really love. I also enjoy skiing and hiking with my family.

Thank you, again, for visiting my home page; I hope it was informative.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
