Welcome to My Personal Home Page

I was born and raised in Jamaica, West Indies, finished Medical School there, interned in Nassau, Bahamas and then completed my anesthesia residency in New York City. I joined Kaiser Hayward in early January 1981. Many years later I am still enjoying the work and happy to be part of the Kaiser "family". My patients mean a lot to me and I always aspire to provide the best anesthetic care possible.

Outside of my Kaiser life, I love traveling & have done so extensively with my husband and son. Some favorite places because of scenery or the people are: Norway, Iceland, Spain, Mongolia, Kenya, Brazil, Chile, and Costa Rica. I also enjoy spending time with our very extended family [I am 1 of 9 children, my husband is 1 of 8], trying various ethnic foods, reading, watching home decorating shows, listening to all types of music, favorites being: reggae, soul, and R&B.

My Credentials

Medical school University of The West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica
Internship Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas
Residency Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY
Board certification Anesthesiology, American Board of Anesthesiology

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
