Hello and thank you for visiting my home page!

I came to Kaiser Permanente first as an intern completing my doctorate in PT and continued to work for Kaiser upon the completion of my degree in physical therapy. I chose to stay with Kaiser because I agree with the integrated medical approach provided here as well as the diversity of patients that I see.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Sociology from UCSC, I felt I needed another challenge. This is when I chose to enter the field of physical therapy. At the time, I was working as a fitness instructor. Through that experience I became interested in promoting health and fitness. My background in fitness led to my special interest in orthopedics. I enjoy helping my patients reach their goals, improve their quality of life, and help in their recovery from various physical injuries.

I am a San Francisco native and love the bay area. I went to college in Santa Cruz and graduated from PT school at Samuel Merritt in Oakland. Outside of work I enjoy staying active either at the gym or outside by hiking and camping.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
