About Me:

I work in the Pediatrics departments of Folsom and Rancho Cordova providing brief evaluations of children and teens. I am currently in Folsom on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Mondays and Wednesdays I work in Rancho Cordova. I also lead ADHD parenting classes in the Folsom Mental Health Department on Tuesday evenings.

I have my Bachelor’s Degree from Pomona College and my Doctor of Psychology Degree from the University of Denver School of Professional Psychology. I hold a California Psychologist license. I have been working in the mental health field for 25 years and have been at Kaiser Permanente in the Sacramento area for over 17 years.

My specialty is in behavior analysis and behavior therapy. I have extensive experience in ADD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and Behavior Management.

Providers in the Child, Adolescent and Family program are specialists in the mental health problems experienced by children and their families. We provide brief treatment to children, adolescents and families. We involve the family in learning new skills to deal with psychiatric issues. We see people individually, in families or in groups depending upon problems being treated and the developmental needs of the child.

Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
