I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I completed undergraduate University of California at Davis before attending Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, Ca and studying nursing. After nursing school I worked in critical care nursing for two years at San Francisco General hospital before returning to Samuel Merritt and completing my Masters in Nurse Anesthesia.

I joined Kaiser Permanente as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) after graduation in 2006. I strive to be a patient advocate while providing a safe and pleasant anesthesia experience. A Kaiser Permanente Nurse Anesthetist and Anesthesiologist planted the seed, which would cultivate into passion for anesthesia for me after they cared for my wife with the births of our two sons. I enjoy all aspects of anesthesia but have particular interest in regional anesthesia and obstetrical Anesthesia.

My philosophy for life is also my philosophy in anesthesia. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, California Association of Nurse Anesthetists of which I currently serve on the board of directors.

I was born in San Francisco and raised in the Bay Area. I am married to my high school sweet heart and together we have two boys and a baby girl. We currently reside in the East Bay. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, running, lifting weights and camping. I look forward to meeting you and I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
