On June 4th, 2012 I will be moving to a new facility which will be located at 1263 E. Arques Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. It's only 4 miles northeast of our current Santa Clara Kaiser Drive Medical Offices and offers ample free parking. I'm hoping that my patients and families that I've come to know so well will follow me to our new facility.

My Practice Philosophy

My particular expertise is in operative therapy and my specific goals are to help people understand what obstacles exist to getting pregnant and what options are available to help them achieve that goal.

About Me

I grew up on the East Coast outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I received a B.S. from Boston College in 1968 and then received my M.D. from the University of Chicago in 1972. I graduated with honors from both universities. I moved to Los Angeles and spent four years at the University of Southern California Women’s Hospital, where I completed my formal training in 1976. I am board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

I had my own practice in Santa Cruz for ten years enjoying the life of a “small town” doctor. My medical interests grew into wanting to help people who were having difficulty with their fertility. As a result, I returned to school and spent three years receiving formal training at Harvard and the University of California at Los Angeles. I am the Sub-Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and have held that position since joining The Permanente Medical Group in 1991. My professional interests include all aspects of my specialty.

My Interests

I am married and have two grown boys. I enjoy my family as well as golfing, gardening and my animals. My interests include watercolor, chess, hiking/biking and spending as much time as possible in the mountains near Tahoe.

I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, you may leave me a message at the above telephone number. Either, I, or my medical assistant, will return your call.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
