Welcome to My Home Page!

I began practicing medicine in 1985 and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007. A persons health is one of the most important and interesting aspects of their life. It is important to try to live healthy everyday to achieve a healthy life!

I feel that being a health care provider is a true privilege. It provides me the opportunity to meet and be part of so many people's lives and to help make a positive influence on them. As a provider I want to include every aspect of my patients’ life in their care. I have a particular clinical interest in neonatal/newborn care and maternal bonding for pre-term infants, and am a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

My Credentials

Medical school Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA
Residency Children's Hospital, Oakland, CA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
