About Me

I received my medical degree from Boston University and completed my residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. I then completed a body radiology fellowship in Boston University Medical Center, specialized in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). I am board certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.

My Credentials

Medical school Boston University School of Medicine, Boston, MA
Internship Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY
Residency Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI
Fellowship Boston University Medical Center University Hospital, Boston, MA
Board certification Radiology, American Board of Radiology

I am a member of:

  • The Radiology Sociey of Northern America.
  • The American Roentgen Ray Society.
  • The Sacramento Valley Medical Society.

Radiology

I like all aspects of Radiology. It is challenging and is crucial in making accurate diagnosis so that the corresponding treatment can be delivered by the clinicians. I interpret X-Ray, CAT scan, ultrasound, fluroscopy, and MRI. My main professional interests lie in MRI because I think this is a superb diagnostic technique which make use of the magnetic field instead of radiation and therefore do no harm to the patients. Body MRI is my specialty.

My Career at Kaiser Permanente

I joined the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in 2001. I enjoy the autonomy to practice medicine/ radiology with KP and am always able to perform only the appropiate tests to my patients. The KP health network also has the largest resources in the nation. At Kaiser, great effort has been spent to ensure physicians have a sound physical and mental wellness so our patients will be better hands.

Outside Interests

I enjoy golfing and hiking when I am not at work.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
