How to Use My Home Page...

My Biography

I consider Kaiser Permanente San Francisco to be a beacon of medical care in the city, and I am proud to be associated with the organization. I live in the Richmond district within the city, so it is certainly a plus to work so close to home. The fact that I speak fluent Cantonese is a huge asset benefiting the Asian community.

Our colleagues hold a wonderful professional respect for one another. Since some of us specialize in one facet or another of optometry, we are available to one another as resources.

I am happily married to my wife Julie, and I have one 10-year-old daughter, Naomi, and a six-year-old son, Noah. I enjoy spending time with my family and playing the X-box with my kids. For mental and physical wellness, I exercise, and engage in a regular prayer and meditation practice.

Many people have Laser Vision Correction done so that they are no longer dependent on glasses or contact lenses for distance vision. Individuals over 40 will still need glasses for reading after Laser Vision Correction to correct both eyes for distance.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
