Welcome to my personal home page.

My wife, my daughter and I live in the GSAA service area, I am a native San Franciscan and enjoy working in Hayward and Fremont very much. I take great pleasure and pride in delivering the best quality care available anywhere for my patients. I have the pleasure to work in a department with many top-notch, talented anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists. My personal goal and our departmental goal is to deliver compasionate, technically superior care to our patients in every instance, whether they are having an operation, delivering a baby, or having other services. I feel very fortunate indeed because my work is never boring or routine. I have new patients each day with unique histories and problems. My patients entrust their safety and care to me, a responsibility which I respect very much. The specialty of anesthesiology requires us to function in a busy, sometimes chaotic environment while always maintaining focus on our patient's care. I look forward to meeting you in our pre-operative clinic, before surgery on the day of your surgery, or in the labor and delivery unit when you are having a baby.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
