Dr. Ho graduated from Northwestern University with a B.Sc. in biomedical engineering. She received her MD from Northwestern University in 1999. She completed her residency in general surgery at Temple University and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. Dr. Ho joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006. She is board certified in Surgical Critical Care and Surgery.

Her subspecialty is surgical critical care and her medical interests include nutrition and sepsis.

She can speak conversational Mandarin. When not working she enjoys running, travel, music.
