I have a special interest in treating patients combining orthopaedic manual therapy techniques with functional neuromuscular re-education to restore normal function and movement. In other words, I combine treating the dysfunction of the muscles and joints along with re-educating their functional use.

It is very important to develop an individualize home exercise program to further progress the healing process. No two patients are the same so do not expect a written list of standard exercises. I believe in individualizing the home program. As you get better the treatment and home exercise program must also progress and change.

I also believe in educating you as to what the pathology is, what to do and more importantly what to avoid to facilitate the healing process. It is what you are doing 24 hours a day that makes the greatest impact on your healing process.

My interests include boating and fishing, gardening, walking my dog, and being an avid 49er and Giant fan.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
