My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. I completed my internship and residency at the Family Health Center in San Jose, California affiliated with Stanford Medical School. I am board certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice and joined The Permanente Medical Group in 2003.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

My Healthcare Practice

I encourage my patients to take an active role in their own healthcare.

Trained in family medicine, my focus is on treating the whole person in the context of their social and cultural beliefs.

I chose family practice as my specialty because of its breadth and variety. It is also the field where I felt I could contribute the most to my patients.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

As the leader in quality and service, Kaiser is unsurpassed in its commitment to providing superior care. It is also the main reason I chose to work here and also receive healthcare for my own family.

My Outside Interests

My free time is spent with my family. I enjoy snowboarding, tennis, basketball and most sports. I have an interest in Sports Medicine and during my training, I had the privilege of working with several high school and college teams.

Be sure to visit the New Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
