Welcome!

On this site you will find answers to many of your questions about my clinical practice. Also included are several online features that will allow you to e-mail me, check your laboratory results and refill prescriptions. I hope you find its content informative and useful.

I grew up and have spent most of my time in Northern California. It was an easy decision to join the Kaiser Permanente team as I had the opportunity to train with Kaiser Permanente physicians in my Emergency Medicine residency program. This allowed me to see the professionalism and high standards of patient care that Kaiser Permanente physicians practice.

My philosophies of healthcare closely align with those of Kaiser Permanente which include disease prevention and patient wellness. In the Emergency Department, I have particular interests in procedural skills and staff education.

Outside of work, I enjoy doing anything outside. Favorites though, are travelling, hiking and camping.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
