Hello! Welcome to my homepage. I hope you are having a wonderful day. I very much enjoy my medicine practice where I have the unique opportunity to help people feel better in the hospital and also have special interests in wellness and prevention to help people live healthier, more energetic lives. I also work with patients with terminal illnesses to assist them in improving their quality of life with friends and family.

Background

I am new to the Kaiser family as of July 2007 as a doctor in Hospital Based Services (HBS). I look forward to contributing to the care of patients in the hospital, in the preoperative clinic, and through the palliative care consult service. Outside of the hospital I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing outdoor sports, cooking, and reading.

Recommendations

Be good to yourself. Exercise, eat a nutritious diet, and relax. Prevention is key to remaining healthy and feeling well for yourself, your family and your community. Kaiser has many resources to help you achieve wellness and balance – we are here to support you!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
