About me

My interest in this field came from assisting a friend who sustained a severe orthopedic injury in high school. Being a part of his rehabilitation process was rewarding, and my interest developed from there.

Now working as a Physical Therapist, I enjoy being able to see a variety of patients with many cultural backgrounds and life experiences. There is a unique aspect to each personality and condition. I also like to educate patients about aspects of their health care that they may have little knowledge of. This provides a solid base for why we ask patients to make positive changes to promote healing of a variety of conditions. I have particular interests in orthopedics; specifically fracture healing and patient education.

Working for Kaiser Permanente means I have the opportunity to work independently or with collaboration of others as needed. I also appreciate that technology updates provide easy access to medical records, tests, and procedures, which helps me better serve my patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy camping, traveling, Alpine skiing, photography, and spending time with my family.

My education and credentials:

Physical Therapy Education BS from Texas Woman's University
Licensure Physical Therapy Board of California
Advanced Training Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Australian Approach, CA

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
