How to Use My Home Page...

My Biography

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because of the diversity of practice opportunities, and the emphasis on treating individuals throughout their lifetimes, thus forming lasting relationships and fostering continuity of care. I particularly enjoy teaching my patients about their health, focusing on preventative medicine and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I place an emphasis on physical exercise and a healthy diet as a means to better living and good health. I try to discuss this with every member I see in my clinic.

Kaiser Permanente is a very comfortable setting in which to practice medicine. The medical and support staff is very helpful and competent. The free classes for members, teaching concepts for healthier living and the basics of chronic conditions, have been assistive in supplementing care.

I enjoy many outdoor activities, including running, biking, and snowboarding, as well as spending time with my nieces and nephews, family, and friends. I do like to travel as much as possible, and try to plan at least one vacation with good friends every year to a new place.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
