Introduction

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente to be part of a multidisciplinary team that puts patient's health and wellness as their priority. The communication between healthcare providers is a vital part of providing quality service for our members. I take a patient centered care approach to physical therapy to assist in determining your goals and creating a unique treatment program that suits your needs. Patience, dedication and commitment to the treatment program is crucial to reaching your personal goals. I value your time and dedication to your health and will do my best to help you reach your fullest potential.

Background

I earned my B.A. in Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley and then earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy at U.S.C. I first became interested in physical therapy when I was a sports medicine intern with Berkeley's Football and Rugby team. From then on, I knew my career would involve helping people return to their optimal function, whether it was playing sports or walking again.

Recommendations

As your doctor of physical therapy, I understand how valuable your time is. And I want to let you know how much I appreciate the time you take to be as healthy as you can be. Please be sure to log on and register at kp.org. This will make it easier for you and your family to get answers to your questions and take care of many of your health care needs. It is important to educate and empower our members with the tools they need to succeed in their goals. I will help you reach your goals.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
