About Me

I have always wanted to become a physician, since as a child I was always getting sick, had to go to the doctors a lot, and received a lot of painful shots for my illness. I thought then that if I become a physician, I would invent better medicines so I would not have to get shots anymore.

I later chose my specialty of occupational medicine because of my interest in all the different work processes in various occupations, chemicals involved in exposure cases that we treat, and all the interesting work sites that we tour and learn about.

I like Kaiser Permanente's occupational health center because of the high quality of standards the clinicians uphold here, and the constant on-the-job training programs that Kaiser Permanente offers to keep us at the forefront of our specialty practice. We are not influenced easily by employers or management, and are able to freely manage and treat patients as is medically indicated.

My philosophy on healing involves compassion, empathy, listening to the patient, and communication with the patient.

My personal interests include traveling to interesting locations, eating at quality restaurants, cooking, movies, swimming, and reading.
