Welcome to My Home Page!
I attended medical school at Tehran University School of Medicine. Later, I did two years of residency in surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and soon realized that I loved anesthesiology. I then started my residency in anesthesia at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital, and University of Pittsburgh.
I joined Kaiser Permanente in Fresno in November 2004 and have come to love this great place - my work, the city, raising a family, and enjoying the fresh fruits and vegetables. I have come to call Fresno my home.
When I am not at the hospital I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, jogging, and swimming.
The most beautiful and satisfying part of my job as an anesthesiologist is seeing my patients have a good surgical experience from pre-op to discharge. Most of all, I love seeing a smile on patient's faces after their procedure and their happiness as they leave the hospital.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
