Welcome to My Home Page

As your physician, I value my relationship with you and I know that maintaining a good relationship means being able to communicate with each other. My colleagues and I have developed home pages so that we can stay in touch more easily. Because the better connected we are, the healthier you are.

My Background

I am fortunate to be born and raised in Sacramento and am excited to continue my career in this area. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011 and truly feel that the care delivered here surpasses that of other top centers in the country.

Professional Affiliations

  • American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons
  • California Medical Association

Roles & Responsibilities

I chose the field of Orthopedic Surgery because of the immense and immediate impact I could have on patients of all age groups. Within Orthopedics, I found spinal surgery to be the most challenging and rewarding. I enjoy treating both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of conditions including scoliosis, disc conditions, fractures, tumors, and others.

Hobbies & Interests

I play soccer and tennis regularly and enjoy wakeboarding and snowboarding as often as possible. My real passion is traveling and I have been lucky to see many amazing places.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
