Welcome to my homepage

Medicine is the passion of my life. Seeing a smile on a patient's face gives me great satisfaction. Being able to directly help other people during illness and to relieve their agony is one of the major reasons I turned to clinical practice of medicine after many years of basic medical research.

My Background

I obtained my degree from the Capitol University of Medical Sciences and a Masters degree from the University of Arizona and a PhD Degree in Physiology and Neuroscience from Michigan State University. Aside from English, I speak Chinese and a little Spanish.

My Recommendations

I encourage you to actively particpate in your health care. Taking advantage of our preventive care, immunization, and regular well care visits is a great place to start. Following recommendations for treatment and follow up monitoring can provide a great advantage on treatment and help prevent serious health problems. I am looking forward to working closely with you to ensure that you receive the very best care that I can provide.

My Credentials

Medical school Capital University of Medical Sciences, Beijing City, China
Residency Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso, TX
Fellowship UC Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA
Board certification Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine
Board certification Rheumatology, American Board of Internal Medicine

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
