Welcome to My Home Page!

Thank you for visiting my web page. I hope that you find the on-line services helpful, especially the Healthy Living Resources which provides many programs to assist in the changes you desire to make in your life.

I have been practicing clinical social work since 1980 and am committed to providing an experience of care that is collaborative. I view psychotherapy as a process of meeting a client "where they are at" and working together to meet a client's goals. I like to help people find, develop and use their own strengths to make the changes they want. I very much enjoy working with a variety of people and problems and have worked in a number of mental health settings including inpatient, outpatient, day treatment and private practice. I have found the experience of working at Kaiser a positive professional experience because there are many services that are available to best meet the needs of our clients, including groups, classes, medication consultation and individual psychotherapy. There is strong collaboration between colleagues within Kaiser to help our members and this adds to my professional satisfaction.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
