Practice Philosophy
I strive to provide superb clinical care to patients and to maximize the positive impact of perioperative care. I plan to continuously learn and improve my skills as an anesthesiologist throughout my career, building upon an existing strong foundation of medical knowledge and training. Day to day, working well as part of a team and overall efficiency are also priorities to me.
About Me
I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I attended Cornell University for my undergraduate studies, then Wake Forest University School of Medicine for my medical degree, graduating in 2005. I completed my residency training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Boston.
I am board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011.
My Interests
My professional interests include pediatric anesthesiology and medical mission work. On a personal note, I enjoy cooking, baking, tennis, photography, fishing and traveling.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
