Welcome

My site is designed to help assist you in finding the information that you need. You will find links to other clinicians in this department as well links to the laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology departments. You can even book certain routine appointments online or request a prescription refill. I hope you find my home page useful.

I was born and raised in Plattsburgh, New York, and went to college in Binghamton, NY. After going to medical school in Syracuse and doing my residency in Philadelphia, I'm very happy to be out here in California. I really enjoy working for Kaiser Permanente because of the high standards of care I'm able to provide for patients in the Emergency Dept. I have been an active member of the Hayward and Fremont Emergency Department staff since 2002.

Off to the left side of the page here, you'll notice information on a wide variety of medical topics, useful to many patients I've seen in the Emergency Department. Please use this page anytime you want to get more information on medical subjects and let me know, if you see me in the ER, if you have any suggestions for other links or information sources.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
