I am pleased to offer my home page as a means to introduce myself and to provide you with high-quality health information through useful handouts and helpful web links.

After growing up in New Jersey, I have come to call many places home. My journey started in Connecticut where I did my undergraduate studies, and continued onto Seoul, Korea where I the spent the year as a Fulbright scholar. I also spent time in the Washington DC area performing and publishing scientific research at the NIH. I then moved onto New York City where I obtained my dental degree. I have spent the past 6 years in San Francisco where I received my medical degree and completed my residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. My wife, daughter, and I have been happy with our time in California and we are excited to continue to call Northern California our home.

During my residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCSF, I was trained in all aspects of this wonderful field including orthognathic surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, TMJ surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, benign and malignant tumor surgeries, and variety of different facial reconstructive surgeries for conditions such as craniofacial anomalies . I took a particular interest in orthognathic surgery as it relates to both dentofacial deformities and facial esthestics. In fact, that was the focus of my most recent research project. I am very passionate about oral and maxillofacial surgery and I am equally excited to have the opportunity to provide my best care to all my patients at Kaiser Permanente. I joined the Kaiser hospital system because it allows me to put patient care first without any compromise.

I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and daughter who are the joys of my life. I also enjoy snowboarding and playing golf at my leisure.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
