My Biography

After completing my residency at Kaiser Permanente in southern California, I knew I wanted to join the Kaiser family. When an opportunity presented itself at San Francisco Medical Center, the offer was too good to pass up. Kaiser’s integrated health care model is an incredible way to deliver health care. In a comprehensive system such as this, consultations amongst clinicians, and across departments, occurs in a very natural, collaborative way. Patients benefit from the ability to access all services within a single system. A laboratory and a number of pharmacies are available on site, and if patients are referred to specialists, those specialists are also available right here.

Within the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, areas of particular interest include endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I find taking care of couples with infertility issues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of medicine.

I keep healthy and active through exercising three times per week, usually walking or using the treadmill. I try to adhere to healthy eating habits, but plan to sample the wonderful cuisine that San Francisco has to offer. During my leisure time, I enjoy hiking, cinema, and reading. One of my favorite authors is Robert Heinlen.

Welcome to Kaiser Permanente San Francisco. I look forward to working with you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
