My Specialty and Why I Chose It.

My interest in medicine started when I was in high school. I have always looked up to physicians and was impressed by how they were able to diagnose and treat certain ailments. After medical school, I decided to become a psychiatrist. A psychiatrist is a medical physician who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illnesses.

It is important to establish a therapeutic relationship with a patient and communication is a key factor.

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007 and look forward to more productive years to come. I chose Kaiser Permanente because I wanted to join an established organization which continues to strive to provide excellent care to patients.
