Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me and the Radiology Department at Kaiser Permanente Modesto. There are a number of links to clinical information, as well as a link to the web sites of other members of our department. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam. I came to the United States with my parents as a teenager. I was inspired by my father who was a physician in Vietnam and decided to follow his footsteps. My medical degree was obtained at Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. I then completed my medicine internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, San Jose, CA. Thereafter, I completed my diagnostic radiology residency and my musculoskeletal fellowship at University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. My medical interests include musculoskeletal imagings which include MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computerized Tomography) and interventions.

I joined Kaiser Permanente as it is well known in providing outstanding medical care at an affordable cost to patients. It also provides a working environment where I can concentrate on taking care of my patients without being influenced by outside factors. Central Valley is a fast growing region and I enjoy working here because of the weather and the diversity of people.

I am married and have two children. When I am not working, I enjoy playing tennis, working out in the gym and spending time with family and friends. Beside English, I speak Vietnamese fluently.

My Philosophy of Care

I hope to use my knowledge and skills to provide accurate diagnoses and best possible health care services to my patients.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
