Welcome to My Home Page !
I joined Kaiser Permanente Fresno in 2003 as a board certified hospital based internist immediately after my internal medicine residency. That was the time when I had an opportunity to serve typically ill patient in hospital, intensive care unit, medical/surgical floors and emergency rooms. Five years later, I took another challenge in my career and pursued my passion for the field of infectious diseases, which I planned to use and serve the community to a greater extent. I went through an extensive training of two-year fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of California San Francisco, School of Medicine-Fresno, California. I became a board certified infectious diseases specialist in October 2010. Currently I cannot be happier to serve the community and members of Kaiser Permanente as an infectious disease specialist.
Practice Philosophy
Every morning when I start my day, I just want to think about whom I can help for that particular day. I believe it is always worthwhile to do well to others. Being a physician in Kaiser Permanente, I could have all my wishes come true. My broad-based academic knowledge of internal medicine, expert knowledge of infectious diseases coupled with my strong enthusiasm to help others, compels me to serve people and members of the community who are in need.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
