To My Patients:

Welcome to my Internet Home Page. This site is designed to provide you with information about Pathology and to know more about me. There is also a link to the Department of Pathology home page, which has information about our Clinical Laboratory services. You can even use this site to refill prescriptions, or request an appointment with your personal physician.

About Me

I received my medical degree at Beijing Medical University, Beijing, China. I then completed my Pathology residency and my fellowship in Dermatopathology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Newark, NJ. I am proud to be a part of a well-established organization, Kaiser Permanente, which allows physicians to focus their energy and attention in patient care without having to worry about the business aspect of health care and to be a better doctor.

Being in the Central Valley is a new challenge for both my husband and I and yet this is an ideal place to raise family and children. My husband, John, is also a pathologist. We share same interests and challenge in the field of pathology. We have two wonderful children. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and traveling.

My Philosophy of Care

As a pathologist, my mission is to participate in patient care by providing accurate diagnosis, communicating with clinicians for significant findings and keeping up my knowledge and skills.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
