Welcome To My Home Page
I completed my training in anesthesiology at UC San Francisco. Prior to that, I also attended medical school at UC San Francisco. In between, it was my year of internship in internal medicine at Kaiser San Francisco that sparked my interest in taking care of Kaiser Permanente members. The compassion, multi-disciplinary practice, and evidence-based approach to patient care drew me to this great place.
I joined Kaiser South San Francisco’s anesthesia department in 2010. I really enjoy living in the San Francisco bay area, as its coastal climate and multi-ethnic population often reminds me of Sydney, Australia, a place I called home until the age of 16.
As an anesthesiologist, my goals are to ensure your safety, and comfort. I also remind myself that although the operating room is often my home, patients are often anxious about their surgical procedure and being in an unfamiliar environment. Alleviating those concerns and making your experience with us as stress-free as possible is also my goal. If you have any questions regarding your anesthetic experience, do not hesitate to contact me or my colleagues.
I am fortunate to be a part of a very talented and warm-hearted group of operating room staff, and to have the opportunity to take care of you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
