Welcome to My Home Page!

I was born in Be’er Sheva, Israel and moved to the U.S. with my family when I was 10 years old. I have always been interested in human behavior, motivation, and emotions — probably partially due to my father’s research in cognition of students’ learning in mathematics.

While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked part time at Wabash Valley Psychiatric Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician. I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 1998 with dual degrees in Psychology and Law & Society. I also have always enjoyed drawing and painting and have an undergraduate minor in Art & Design. After moving to San Diego, CA I worked for one year at a residential treatment facility for adolescents. I received my M.A. from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), San Diego in 2001, and then my Doctorate degree from CSPP-Los Angeles in 2003. My pre-doctoral internships included the Oceanside Unified School District, Verdugo Mental Health—Adult Outpatient Program, and the Glen Roberts Child Study Center in Glendale, CA. I completed my post-doctoral training at The Sycamores in Pasadena, CA in August, 2004 and obtained my California Board of Psychology License at the same time.

Prior to my employment with Kaiser Permanente in August, 2006, I worked at Napa State Hospital for nearly two years. Currently I am providing Case Management services to Kaiser Permanente patients in the Diablo Valley area, and enjoy interacting with my colleagues, patients, and overall work environment.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
