About Kaiser Permanente

I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 2006. I am privileged to practice Radiology at Kaiser Permanente. I have access to the latest imaging equipment and information technology. Plus, I have the freedom to exercise my expertise without restrictions, with the ultimate goal of taking the best possible care of my patients.

My Practice

I divide my professional time between the practice of general radiology (interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammograms and X-rays) and interventional radiology. As an interventional radiologist, I perform minimally invasive procedures to treat conditions such arterial and venous diseases and cancer. I also perform drainage procedures, biopsies and treat the needs of dialysis patients. I find this to be a particularly rewarding aspect of my practice, as in many instances these procedures successfully treat diseases that previously required major surgery and do so with a shorter recovery period and less risk to the patient.

On a Personal Note

I spend much of my free time with my husband and our two young children. I believe that it is important to maintain a balance between my professional career and private life.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
