Following graduation from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1981, I practiced Physical Therapy in the private setting within the Sacramento region for the next 15 years. My primary treatment focus was orthopedics.

I also worked with numerous high school and college athletes on the field as well as in the clinical setting. During this time, I was a member of the Physical Therapy/Athletic Training staff for the Hoops for Kids Charity events at Arco Arena which allowed me the opportunity to work with NBA players such as Magic Johnson.

In 1995, I was accepted into the Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy program at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. This year-long program afforded me the opportunity to enhance my clinical skills while studying with some of world's most foremost Physiotherapists.

I joined Kaiser Permanente upon my return from Australia. I currently treat patients within the outpatient department as well young athletes in the Pediatrics Sports Injury Clinic.

I am married and have two children. My son recently graduated from St. John's University in New York with a degree in Business. He played baseball at St. John's as well as at Sacramento City College before transferring. My daughter is currently attending Eastern Washington University in Cheney where she is pursuing her degree in Psychology and playing soccer. Both are graduates of Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento.

Ourside of Kaiser, I enjoy playing golf. I am also the Sports Medicine consultant for the Christian Brothers High Schoool varsity baseball team.
