Welcome to my home page,

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (LCS18127) since 1996.

I would like to share a little bit about my background, training and interests.

I graduated from California State University, Hayward in 1991 with a B.A. degree in Psychology with a focus on Clinical and Personality development. I completed my Masters of Social Work degree at San Jose State University in 1993. I began my clinical training in many venues in the community working with various populations. I completed my clinical training at Eden Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, and remained there working with the Psychiatric In-patient and Partial Hospitalization programs until 1998. I joined the Kaiser Department of Psychiatry in 2001 as part of the Adult Psychiatry team.

I have a special interest in working with people with disabilities, with women and with geriatric patients.

I see patients individually as well as run groups for people with physical limitations and another for people over 60 years old. I also facilitate a group in our new pilot program "Crossroads" and enjoy working as part of the Crisis Triage Team.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
