My Biography

When I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente, I sensed right away that this organization was the right environment and fit for me. I wanted to work within a large, west-coast city that offered many cultural advantages, and provided a very diverse patient population. The integrated care model makes Kaiser stand out from other health care organizations. Kaiser promotes a comprehensive care plan which includes a rather unique, marked emphasis on preventive care.

My job is a rewarding one. My special focus area is neuroradiology. I attend several different kinds of conferences in this specialty area. I also enjoy the colleagues with whom I work. They are committed and unpretentious, and we socialize both in and outside of work.

During my free time, I like visiting different restaurants, attending programs at the San Francisco Symphony, and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, and walking. I help myself to thrive by working out at a gym, eating varied kinds of healthy foods, and spending time with friends. When I have time, I would like to get a pet some day!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
