Welcome to My Home Page !

I joined Kaiser Permanente as a resident physician in 1998 and Kaiser Permanente's Fresno Medical Center as a radiation oncologist in 2003. Radiation therapy services for Kaiser Permanente members in the Fresno area are provided at the Fresno Cancer Center, 7887 N. Cedar Avenue, where my office is located. I am a board certified radiation oncologist. I am trained in 3-D conformal radiation, brachytherapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy. I am a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

I was born and raised in Southern California. As an undergraduate, I attended University of California, Irvine, graduating with honors (cum laude) and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. I then completed my medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. I completed my residency in radiation oncology at the Kaiser Permanente Regional Radiation Oncology Department in Los Angeles.

I enjoy spending time with my family. During my free time I enjoy travel and the dramatic arts.

I believe in tailoring treatment to the circumstances and needs of individual patients. Patients should be fully informed about their diagnosis and I encourage their participation in making treatment decisions.

My Credentials

Medical school Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA
Internship St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach, CA

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
