Welcome to My Internet Home Page
Welcome to Modesto Physical Therapy where we partner together to find the medical care which best fits your injury and life demands. An injury or new medical condition can be a frightening, stressful period in your life, but rest assured, your treatment is based on the latest scientific evidence to minimize your recovery time and restore you to productivity and enjoyment of life’s offerings. In addition, I hope to provide you with an educational experience as well as a warm, friendly atmosphere.
About Me
My education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, Revelle College, awarded in 1984. In 1988, I completed my Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, a university renowned for having the nation’s top Physical Therapy program. In 2005, I became a board certified hand therapist. Education is a life long endeavor, and as such, I attend multiple symposiums each year to be abreast of the latest surgical and rehabilitation breakthroughs.
When I’m not passionately providing care or pursuing higher cerebral stimulation, I like to spend time grounded in the great outdoors fly fishing, bow hunting, backpacking, and camping with my family, or indulging in my wife’s passion for travel both domestically and abroad. Our large family keeps us quite busy with their educational development and outside activities such as soccer, baseball, softball, track and field, and the Boy Scouts.
My Philosophy of Care
The treatment you will receive is a reflection of the passion I hold for evidence based medicine. You are empowered with the knowledge of your condition and with the most efficacious treatment options which best address your functional deficits. Care is active participation between therapist and patient. Ultimately, the patient is progressed into independence with a home program that can be utilized for life.
Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
