Education:
BS in Physical Therapy, California State University, Fresno

Specialty: Orthopedics, Sports, Manual Therapy

I began my career in 1990, working and managing in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings. I came to Kaiser in 2008. I enjoy working with a diverse patient population, evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and conditions. I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente provider, surrounded by a dedicated staff in the Rehabilitation Services Department. As a Physical Therapy clinician, I am encouraged and supported by the organization to provide the best possible care for our patients. I have found that Kaiser provides the most collegial setting I have been a part of. This leads to a far higher quality of care for our patients.

When not caring for my patients, I enjoy spending time with my 4 children. I also enjoy coaching several sports, primarily a tournament baseball team. When not doing all of this, I find the time to care for myself with regular exercise.

I look forward to providing your physical therapy care at the Oakland Medical Center.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
