My Biography

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco because I live in the community and understand the needs of the city’s children, adolescents, and families. I wanted to be able to give back to the community in which I live.

I enjoy being able to help children, adolescents, and their families with the many problems with which they are coping and to provide them with the skills to cope more effectively with future difficulties that may arise.

I enjoy working with children and adolescents with developmental delays, behavioral difficulties, depression, anxiety, and helping parents learn more effective parenting techniques. I enjoy performing psychological evaluations. I am interested in conducting applied research and exploring the developmental pathways to Conduct Disorder. I facilitate several different groups for children, young teens, and parents, including a social skills group and a young teen group.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading mystery and suspense novels, jogging, taking walks, cooking, and watching football.
